Which day of my split is next? Yield keeps track
You train four days a week on an upper and lower split. Monday was upper, Tuesday was lower, and then work got busy. Now it's Friday and you're at the gym trying to remember whether today is upper or lower, and which upper day it was.
Most people keep this in their head or in a notes app. Yield keeps it for you.
Set your split once
Ask your coach to set up a split. It knows four:
- Full body, with three rotating days.
- Upper and lower, with four rotating days.
- Push, pull and legs.
- Back and biceps, chest and triceps, then legs and core.
Each day lists the muscles it trains. You can ask the coach to change a single day, such as adding calves to legs day, without rebuilding the whole split.
If a split won't train every muscle often enough for the days you train, the app says so and names a split that would. The choice is still yours.
Every workout takes the next day
Your split is a rotation, so missing a day loses nothing. The next workout simply takes the next day in the order. Planning a workout from your split moves the rotation on. A workout you do on your own, outside the split, doesn't move it.
See what's up next
The Train screen shows "Up next" with the day's name and the muscles it covers. The Blocks tab shows your whole split, which day is up next, and when you last did each day. Tap the button to plan that day with your coach, and it builds the workout to fit the time you have.
Opening a week in Blocks shows the workouts you actually did that week.
